There are so many great and fun ways to have a green wedding with touches of environmental love. Plantable "Save the Dates" that sprout an herb garden. Eliminate direction and cards and use your website for guests to respond and get directions. Ask your printer if they use a soy ink instead of petroleum ink, it's less toxic for the environment and the printers exposed to it. Design an R.S.V.P. that does not need an envelope or make a donation in your guests honor to The American Cancer Society, American Diabetes Association or Humane Society. Local charities and organizations can be considered as well. This could also be a tribute to a loved one who could not be at the wedding.

Label It!


Have custom labels created with your name, date and the location of the wedding. These can be placed on favors, bags for the candy bar, wine bottles or any other item you wish to personalize. This is a fun and low budget idea to make your Outer Banks wedding more personal to you and your guests.
