Chloe and Chris had their wedding in June of 2010 at The Sunset Retreat Event home in Duck, NC. Chloe graduated from JMU and Chris from UVA. Chris spent his childhood vacationing with his family on The Outer Banks and could not imagine his wedding any place else! The ceremony took place on the beach in Duck and was performed by Reverend Jay Bowman of My Outer Banks Wedding. It was a warm but windy day which created some comfort from the late June humidity. After the ceremony guests gathered for a group photo on the beach then came back to the Sunset Retreat for the cocktail hour and reception. Sandy Beach Tours provided shuttles from the beach to the house since public parking is prohibited on residential streets in Duck. At the reception the tent was decorated with fuscia fabric and white string lights, black table cloths and chairs with accents of fuscia and white. Cosmopolitans were served during cocktail hour as a Signature Drink and a custom candy bar in the wedding colors was set up after dinner. Guests partied all night to the amazing band Hot Sauce out of Charlotte, NC. Ceremony & Reception decorations were provided and set up by Just Beachy Events. Catering was by Coastal Provisions Market. Cake was provided by Great Cakes of The Outer Banks and Photography was done by Bethany & Dan Photography.
